2. Our Services

The Site describes the design and engineering services we offer. It is not an offer to provide those services. Any project we take on is governed by a separate written agreement, such as a proposal, statement of work, or master services agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls for that project.

3. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by introducing malware or placing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
  • Submit false or misleading information, or impersonate any person or organization
  • Use the contact form or any other feature to send spam or unsolicited marketing

4. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, images, case studies, and blog posts, are owned by Detroit Computing or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. The Detroit Computing name and logo are our trademarks and may not be used without our permission.

5. Information You Submit

When you contact us through the Site, we handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy. Contacting us does not create a client relationship. Please do not send confidential or proprietary information through the Site. If you need to share confidential details about a project, ask us for a nondisclosure agreement first.

6. No Professional Advice

Blog posts, case studies, and other content on the Site are for general information only. They are not engineering, legal, regulatory, or compliance advice for your situation. Results described in case studies depend on each project and do not guarantee similar outcomes.

7. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of those sites is governed by their own terms.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Detroit Computing from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
